Pope County Farmer's Market

Tuesday's & Saturday's all Summer!

The Pope County Farmers's Market, is now open Saturday mornings from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and Tuesdays from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

The market will be located in the parking lot by Pope County Museum (look for the totem pole).

Waterama Opening Ceremony

Join the Chamber and Glenwood Waterama for coffee, a light breakfast and activity in the park!

This event will begin with flag raising by Admiral Jeff Panitzke to officially open 2019 Waterama. The reigning royalty will be in attendance as well as the brass and other board members. There will be a recap of some of the Waterama highlights from the year so far, and door prizes of tickets to the dances for Johnny Holm and the Arch Allies on Waterama weekend.

Summer Events Schedule

Pope County Mobile Food Drop will be held Tuesday, July 9 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Glenwood United Parish, 10 17th Ave NW, Glenwood. Distribution of food begins at 12 p.m., registration begins at 11:00 a.m. The Mobile Food Drop is a monthly food distribution event. Anyone who eats and lives in Pope County is able to utilize this program. Please bring boxes to carry your food. This monthly event is made possible by the United Way of Pope and Douglas Counties. Upcoming food drop dates are August 13, Sept. 10, October 8 and November 12.

Kid's Fishing League will start on July 8th and run through August 19th. It will be held Monday night's from 5:30-8:00 p.m. at the DNR landing. This league is for ages 5-12. Contact Terry Jones for more information at 320-424-1667.

17th Annual Laker Classic Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, July 8th, 2019 at the Minnewaska Golf Club. Play begins at 1:00 p.m. For more information or to register,
