Newcomers Group

  Did you sign up for a Special Interest Group?? Are you interested in being a Group Starter? 

We need some Group Starters for the Glenwood Lakes Area Newcomers Specific Interest Groups.  Group starters will get the specific group together the first time.  Emails and phone numbers will be given to the Group Starter.  All you have to do is plan the date, time and place for that first get together. Then as a group you will plan when you want to meet again.

Remember if you've met someone new, remind them to contact Kay at the Welcome Center to set up a visit if they haven't already had one. We want to do a personal visit with our area Newcomers as well as help them get involved in the community.

Pope County Farmer's Market

Tuesday's & Saturday's all Summer!

The Pope County Farmers's Market, is now open Saturday mornings from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and Tuesdays from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

The market will be located in the parking lot by Pope County Museum (look for the totem pole).

The Pope County Farmers' Market, Glenwood  will be open both Saturday and Sunday of Waterama, July 27 & 28th from 8:30-11:30 a.m.   Same location!

This four (4) person SCRAMBLE is the major fundraiser event of the summer for the Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce!

Enjoy a beautiful afternoon of golfing at Minnewaska Golf Club with dinner to follow, catered by the Minnewaska House.

Cash, Prizes, and Trophies will be awarded the day of the event!

Waterama City Park Boardwalk Sales

Attention Potential Vendors and Exhibitors

We would like to invite you to join us for the annual Waterama City Park Boardwalk Sales!

Date:  July 26th through July 28th   
Location:  Glenwood City Park
Registration/Set Up Time:  7:00 a.m. Friday 

(must be set up by 10:00 a.m. on Friday) 
Sales Times:  10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

(flexible; can stay later if desired)
Cost:  $75.00 and includes all three days!

*Chamber members receive a discount. 

ALL Vendors & Exhibitors welcome! Space is limited; first come, first served and duplicate vendors with the same products and/or services are not allowed.
