Thank You Renewals! Ed's Truckstop Dairy Queen Brazier Warwick Health Care Norman Park Gin & Warehouse, Inc. Globe Financial Services DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse – January 6, 2020 Implementation
On January 6, 2020, the Department of Transportation’s Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse will be fully implemented.
The Clearinghouse is a secure online database that will give employers, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), State Driver Licensing Agencies (SDLAs), and State law enforcement personnel real-time information about commercial driver’s license and commercial learner’s permit holders’ drug and alcohol program violations.
For Employers, the Clearinghouse serves as your destination for reporting drug and alcohol violations and checking that no current or prospective employee is prohibited from performing safety-sensitive functions, such as operating a CMV, due to a drug and alcohol program violation for which a driver has not successfully completed a Return-To-Duty (RTD) process.
For more information regarding the Clearinghouse, please view the attached fact sheet.
As a part of this process, employers, consortia/third-party administrators, medical review officers, and substance abuse professionals can also invite users to complete required actions in the Clearinghouse on their behalf. These users would register as Clearinghouse Assistants .
As a Phoebe Corporate Health client / partner, we would like to extend our services to you by offering to be your Clearinghouse Assistant.
For a nominal fee of $100/year, we will maintain all the appropriate administration information in the Clearinghouse for you. This would include: Conducting drug and alcohol screenings Running queries and consent requests Maintaining driver data Processing return to duty information and more!
If you would like to participate in this new benefit offered by Phoebe Corporate Health, please call 229-312-9220 or email pchregister@phoebehealth.com to sign up by December 31, 2019.
