Pickleball
Pickleball will be available to play indoors on Sundays through May 3, 2020 in the Auxiliary gym at Minnewaska High School from 12:30-2:30 p.m. You may use the schools nets, paddles and balls.
For more information call 320-239-1305 for directions to the gym, and punch card payment. There will be no cash payment available.
LAKESIDE DANCE CLUB INVITES NEWCOMERS - Sunday, January 19th.
The Lakeside Dance Club invites you to join them on Sunday, January 19th for an evening of music and dancing at the Lakeside Ballroom from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Dance lessons start at 2:00 p.m.
Music by Velvet Brass.
Newcomers are provided a special discount. $10 per couple. Tickets are available from Kay at theGlenwood Lakes Area Welcome Center.

Car Care Program will host the January Rise and Shine at the Glenwood Chamber and Welcome Center. Come and meet staff and learn more about this organization!
Bring a friend, meet and socialize with others, and enjoy a light breakfast.

Children 6 & under are free
Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to purchase tickets.
Tickets are available only at the Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber & Welcome Center and must be purchased and picked up prior to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31st.

Glenwood Day at Andes Tower Hills
This year, we have the following discounted tickets to offer (while supplies last):
- Tubing Ticket (2 Hour Pass): $20
- Lift Ticket: $25
- Lift Ticket and Regular Ski Rental: $30
- Lift Ticket and Snowboard Rental: $40
These tickets can ONLY be purchased through Friday, February 14, 2020 until 4:00 p.m. at the Glenwood Lakes Area Chamber & Welcome Center and are NOT available on site at Andes Tower Hills!
**Make up date will be Saturday, February 22nd if closed due to weather.

Pope County Mobile
Food Drop
The next Mobile Food Drop will be held on Tuesday, February 11, at Glenwood United Parish, 10 17th Ave NW, Glenwood. Registration is at 11 a.m. and food distribution is from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Please bring boxes to carry your food.
The Mobile Food Drop is a monthly food distribution event. Anyone who eats and lives in Pope County is able to utilize this program.
This monthly event is made possible by the United Way of Pope and Douglas Counties.
Join the Pope County Historical Society on Saturday, January 18th at 1:00 p.m. as they host Luther Gerlack, who will present “High Voltage!” a 90 minute program about the DC power-line project across West Central Minnesota.
"VIRGIL WINS THE LOTTERY"
Showstoppers Winter Show
Showstoppers Winter Show “Virgil Wins the Lottery” performance dates are Friday and Saturday, January 31 and February 1, 2020 with a 5:30 p.m. social hour, dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the show at around 7:30 p.m. at Lakeside Ballroom in Glenwood.
Tickets are now on sale at Tom’s Market in Glenwood and are $25 each for dinner and show.
Tickets purchased by cash or check only.
