Community Announcements Blood Drive Scheduled for Friday, April 2, 2021
The American Red Cross will hold a community blood drive on Friday, April 2, from 10 a.m.-4:00 p.m. at Central Square, Glenwood. This is sponsored by the American Legion Post 187. To support social distancing, appointments can be made by downloading the free Blood Donor app, visiting RedCrossBlood.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or enabling the Blood Donor Skill on any Alexa Echo device. Pope County Mobile Food Drop The next Mobile Food Drop will be held on Tuesday, April 13th at Glenwood United Parish, 10 17th Ave NW, Glenwood.
Registration will be online or over the phone. Please call 320-834-7800.
Distribution times will be later in the day to allow for pre-packing the groceries
Participants will load their groceries that have been pre-packed, and drive away.
The Mobile Food Drop is a monthly food distribution event. Anyone who eats and lives in Pope County is able to utilize this program.
This monthly event is made possible by the United Way of Pope and Douglas Counties.
