National Farmers Market Week
August 1-7, 2021
Let’s celebrate Farmers Markets!
National Farmers Market Week is a great opportunity to show the nation how much value markets bring to their communities.
The Pope County Farmers Market, Glenwood is open Tuesday evenings (June-August) from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and Saturday mornings (June-October) from 8:30-11:30 a.m. We have seasonal and daily vendors with a variety of items sold. National Farmers Market Week falls the first week in August during the season when produce is bountiful.
In celebrating National Farmers’ Market Week, we are encouraging people to stop by, shop and register for a Farmers’ Market Gift Box. Shoppers can sign up on Tuesday, August 3rd and on Saturday, August 7th (shoppers have two chances to register) for the drawing of the gift box. The winners name will be drawn on Saturday, August 7th after the market closes at 11:30 a.m. We will notify the winner by phone and/or email. Need not be present to win.

Pope County Mobile
Food Drop
The next Mobile Food Drop will be held on Tuesday, August 10th at Glenwood United Parish, 10 17th Ave NW, Glenwood.
Registration will be online or over the phone. Please call 320-834-7800.
Distribution times will be later in the day to allow for pre-packing the groceries
Participants will remain in their vehicles and through the parking lot (at their assigned time given to them following registration).
Participants will load their groceries that have been pre-packed, and drive away.
The Mobile Food Drop is a monthly food distribution event. Anyone who eats and lives in Pope County is able to utilize this program.
This monthly event is made possible by the United Way of Pope and Douglas Counties.
City of Glenwood Temporary Website Address Change
Due to server issue, the city website, www.ci.glenwood.mn.us is not currently working. A new temporary website address is www.CityofGlenwood.com until the issue is resolved. If you have any further questions please call city hall weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 320-634-5433.
