2025 Regional Transportation Plan Update

The Plumas County 2025 RTP Update will provide the framework for prioritizing transportation projects, identifying funding sources and scheduling future project implementation in Plumas County.

Status Update! The Draft RTP and associated environmental document are now revised based on comments received from Caltrans, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Plumas County Planning Department.

Comment on the Public Draft Plan through
January 6th, 2025 (1/06/2025)

We are pleased to inform you that the 2025 Plumas County Regional Transportation Plan and associated Environmental Documents are available for Public Draft review!

The Plan is posted and available for review through Jan 6, 2025. Any comments are welcome and can be submitted to raquel@greendottransportation.com or through our project website, https://www.plumascountyrtp.com/feedback.

The Plan is scheduled for adoption on January 20, 2025 at a regular Plumas County Transportation Commission meeting. Please find the associated documents on our website https://www.plumascountyrtp.com.

CPUC Reminds Consumers of the New 837 Area Code Coming to the 530 Region

The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) reminds Californians that the new 837 area code will be added as an overlay to the 530 area code region starting January 31, 2025.

Starting on January 31, 2025, customers in the 530 area code region may be assigned a number in the new 837 area code when they request new service or an additional line. Customers receiving an 837 area code will be required to dial 1 + the area code and phone number for all local calls, just as customers with telephone numbers from the 530 area code do today.
