Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship receives SPI Donation

Thank you to the Sierra Pacific Foundation for its $4,000 donation to our Youth Crew program, dollars that will help ensure we can continue providing local teens with valuable paid work experience in the field. These funds will be used to support food and vehicle expenses for backcountry camping while the crew works on various trail projects this summer. Donations like this are needed more than ever as federal budget cuts reduce the number of Forest Service crews working this season—the SBTS Youth Crew will play an important role in keeping trails in the Lost Sierra open, enjoyable and maintained for all trail users.
