Devon Tilman From Devon's Garden
When Devon Tilman launched her small business three years ago, she faced the same challenge many entrepreneurs do: limited resources and a tight budget. “I had zero budget for anything extra,” she recalls. “I knew the Chamber from wine walks but didn’t understand how that could benefit my business.”
But thanks to a friend’s encouragement, Devon decided to give the Boulder City Chamber of Commerce a chance. What she discovered was more than just an organization — it was a thriving, supportive community.
“I was introduced to what a core piece our Chamber is to our community,” Devon says. “I joined after a few months and am so proud to say I’m a member. My circle of community has grown tenfold.”
Devon, now a proud and active Chamber member, describes the Chamber as a vital part of her business journey. “We are all here for each other, for the greater good of the community. Being a member gives my customers confidence that I am here to serve them — and I’m backed by BC’s most treasured businesses.”
She adds, “The Chamber has helped me grow, given me confidence as an entrepreneur, and reminded me that I’m not alone. They are here to help me succeed. It’s a great feeling. I feel elevated and proud to be part of something bigger.”
