Tis The Season for Giving ❤️

Bowl for a Turkey, Help a Neighbor at Sierra Bella Lanes

Sierra Bella Lanes is bringing a fun and charitable tradition just in time for the holidays!

The event is simple: Patrons who bowl a Turkey (three consecutive strikes) will win a free grocery turkey, sponsored by Quincy Grocery Outlet.

But the real community spirit comes with the bonus challenge: If a bowler hits a second Turkey during their visit, that second bird will be donated directly to a local family in need.

It’s a fantastic, interactive way for the community to enjoy some bowling and contribute to holiday dinner tables at the same time!

Stop by Sierra Bella Lanes soon to join the fun.

PSREC Holiday Drives

Plumas-Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative (PSREC) is helping make the season brighter by supporting the Eastern Plumas Angel Program. Join the effort to provide warmth to local children through two special initiatives:

Co-op Coats-4-Kids: Drop off new coats for children ages 15 and younger.

The Mitten Tree: Help decorate the tree with donations of mittens, hats, snow boots, socks, and scarves.

Plumas Arts: Season of Giving Campaign

Plumas Arts aims to raise $50,000 by December 31st to ensure that every K–6 student in Quincy, Chester, Greenville, and Portola receives a full 10-week in-class arts residency.

For $99, community members can sponsor one student and cover the cost of supplies and instruction to keep this 35-year tradition alive. Visit Plumas Arts to donate and help them reach their goal.

Holiday Giving Bags at The Co-op

Help ensure every family in our community enjoys a good meal this season! The Co-op has launched a new giving initiative to support local neighbors in need.

How it works: Purchase a pre-filled Giving Bag for $10 at the register.

Where it goes: All bags are donated directly to local families.

When: Now through December 19th.

Thank you for helping keep us #PlumasStrong this holiday season!
