CHAMBER IN THE WILD

At our recent Member Lunch, Norwalk High School STEM teachers took the spotlight to introduce the Learn Local program; an exciting initiative designed to connect students with local businesses through hands-on, real-world learning experiences.

The presentation gave chamber members a behind-the-scenes look at how the program works, including opportunities for members to host students that want to career shadow, provide mentorship, internships and collaborate on classroom-to-career pathways.

We’re grateful to the Norwalk High School team for their leadership and to all the members who attended and expressed interest in supporting this important initiative.

Woodshop students made cutting boards and design students made the flower arrangements.

Culinary students made the most delicious cupcakes.

Norwalk Seasonal Services will be hosting a community Christmas event on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 1043 Sunset Drive, Suite 1, in Norwalk.

Families are invited to stop in and enjoy a festive holiday experience, including photos with Santa, hot cider and cocoa, and Christmas cookies.

Guests will also have the opportunity to enter to win a Holiday Gift Basket.

This free, family-friendly event is open to the public, and all are welcome to join in the holiday spirit.
