Plumas County in the National Spotlight
Despite a challenging year, Plumas County Tourism (PCT) has successfully secured 16 media mentions since July, positioning our region as a premier destination for travelers. Recent Media Wins:
Travel + Leisure: The top international travel publication (16 million monthly viewers) featured a comprehensive overview of the county after a writer discovered the region through Visit California. Read the article here.
Bartell’s Backroads (ABC10): John Bartell returned to the area to film a segment focused on our unique Barn Quilts, guided by Karen Kleven and local photographer Jeff Titcomb. Watch the segment here.
PCT Board Member Karen Kleven summarized the effort best: "As they say, we are small but we are mighty, and we are confident that there is more to come." |
