The Laundry Lounge Because going naked is not an option.
Let’s be honest — nobody really likes doing laundry. That’s why The Laundry Lounge was created: to make laundry day a little less of a chore and a lot more comfortable. We wanted a clean, welcoming space where you can relax while your clothes do the work.
Well-maintained machines, free WiFi, TV, video games, and vending options, we do our best to make your time here easy and stress-free. Thanks for choosing The Laundry Lounge, we’re glad you’re here, even if laundry isn’t your favorite thing. At The Laundry Lounge, it’s more than just laundry, it’s a better way to get it done. Located at 808 Sunset Dr in Norwalk. Learn More |

Baking with heart and a whole lot of love. For Sarah, mom, wife, working professional, music enthusiast, and passionate baker, the kitchen has always been a place where connection happens. From baking her dad a banana cream pie each year for his birthday or Father’s Day, to making cookies with her mom, to cooking side-by-side with her grandma Millie during summer breaks using fresh ingredients from the garden and apple tree, baking has always been her love language.
Celebrating something special? Sarah will bake for you. Having a tough week? She’ll bake for you. Heading to a family gathering, birthday party, or just need something sweet to share? You already know the answer—she’ll bake.
Redheaded Neighbor Girl offers a thoughtfully crafted, ever-evolving menu, with plenty of room for creativity. If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, just ask. Sarah loves collaborating, dreaming up custom creations, and bringing meaningful moments to life through baked goods. Because the best recipes aren’t just about ingredients they’re about the memories made along the way. Learn More |

Our Holiday Lunch was a special opportunity to gather, reflect, and celebrate the spirit of generosity that defines our community. We were honored to welcome the Norwalk Area Ministerial Association, NAMA as our featured presenter, who shared the heart behind their mission and the meaningful ways they support neighbors facing hardship across Warren County and beyond.
Attendees heard how NAMA works quietly and consistently to meet real needs; offering resources, guidance, and hope to individuals and families during difficult seasons. Their message served as a powerful reminder that community impact often happens through steady presence, trusted relationships, and collaboration among local organizations.
The lunch also highlighted the broader importance of community giving, a theme echoed in recent coverage by the Independent Advocate. It was encouraging to see how shared awareness continues to amplify the work being done throughout our region and inspires others to get involved.
We are grateful to everyone who joined us for this holiday gathering and helped make the event both meaningful and uplifting. We would like to thank City State Bank for generously providing catering from Winn's Pizza & Steakhouse. The thoughtful spread added an extra layer of warmth to an already special gathering.Taking time to learn, connect, and support organizations like NAMA reinforces what the season, and our community, is truly about: showing up for one another and investing in the well-being of our neighbors.

The Women’s Collective Holiday Party was the perfect way to wrap up the year. The morning included a lively round of the always-popular saran wrap ball game, a holiday sweater competition that brought out equal parts creativity and humor, and time to simply visit and enjoy being together. It was a reminder that this group is just as much about relationships and joy as it is about learning and growth.
Guests also enjoyed delicious holiday treats from Samuelson Sourdough, generously sponsored by City State Bank. The thoughtful spread added an extra layer of warmth to an already special gathering.
As we head into the new year, we’re grateful for the women who continue to show up, support one another, and make the Women’s Collective such a welcoming space. This holiday party was a beautiful reminder of the community we’ve built and we can’t wait to continue gathering in the year ahead.

We loved celebrating the ribbon cutting at Family Pet Veterinary Center and getting a firsthand look at their beautiful newly remodeled space, which is nearing completion. The tour highlighted a thoughtfully designed facility that reflects the care, professionalism, and attention to detail their team brings to every patient and pet parent they serve.
Adding to the fun, the clinic was also hosting Photos with Santa for pets that day and the cuteness level was off the charts.
This ribbon cutting was a wonderful reminder of how local businesses continue to invest in Norwalk, creating welcoming spaces that serve our community in meaningful ways.
Congratulations to the Family Pet Veterinary Center team on this exciting milestone. We’re grateful for the care you provide. |
