Support Our Trails: Your Voice Creates #DirtMagic! |
Our friends at the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship (SBTS) need our community’s help to keep our local trails pristine and accessible.
SBTS is currently applying for California OHV grants to fund essential maintenance for 125 miles of the Mt. Hough system and 129 miles in Downieville. These funds cover critical work such as clearing downed trees, repairing tread, and even developing 19 miles of new trails in the proposed Claremont system. Your comments on these grant applications are vital to proving the economic and personal importance of these trail networks to the Lost Sierra. Whether you value the outdoor recreation or the boost to our local economy, a brief note can make a massive difference. Please submit your feedback by May 6 to ensure this “dirt magic” continues for seasons to come. Take Action: Watch the step-by-step video and submit your comments by May 6 at the link below!
