WildBio Flourishing Launches the Lost Sierra Family Festival!

Starting tomorrow, rain or shine, our members at WildBio Flourishing kick off the inaugural Lost Sierra Family Festival right here in Quincy!

 

This “choose-your-own-adventure” weekend is anchored at the Plumas County Fairgrounds with themed Movement, Art, and Nature “villages” across town. Travel by bike and enjoy a packed schedule of recreation, interactive art workshops, wellness sessions, live music featuring KR3TURE, and a Sunday service project with the Plumas Fire Safe Council.

 

Cost: All daytime activities are completely FREE! The only paid events are the evening roller skating sessions ($5 for All-Ages; $20 for Ages 15+).

The highly anticipated Quincy Star Follies returns to the historic Town Hall Theatre next weekend! Shows are on Friday, April 17, at 4:30 pm and Saturday, April 18, at 8:00 pm.

 

Known as the “heart and soul” of Quincy, this high-energy cabaret and lip-sync extravaganza features a radically inclusive cast of locals. Prepare to see everyone from preschoolers and college athletes to fire chiefs and business owners take the stage!

 

Enjoy a fantastic show while giving back. All proceeds directly benefit the FRC Foundation, funding student scholarships and vital campus programs.

“Pickle Ballers” Blind Draw Tournament

Central Plumas Recreation and Park District

Registration is officially open for the limited-space Pickleball tournament on April 25 and 26 at Serpilio Hall. Players of all skill levels (ages 16+) are welcome, and teams will be drawn at random for fair play.

5th Annual Lost Sierra Plein Air Festival

Get ready to see Quincy through a creative lens! From May 9-17, 2026, artists from across the country will converge on our community for the 5th Annual Lost Sierra Plein Air Festival. Proudly sponsored by Chamber member Plumas Arts, this unique event celebrates the beauty of painting “en plein air” (outdoors).

 

Highlights include the Artist Reception on May 15th, and the “Art in the Park” craft show at Pioneer Park on May 16th and 17th. Don’t miss the fast-paced Quick Draw Competition in downtown Quincy on Saturday morning, followed by an “Off the Easel” art sale!
