Transforming Tragedy Into Environmental Education
Following the tragic loss of his partner, Marty, and their
home in the Dixie Fire, John is turning heartbreak into
action. With an incredible initial $100,000 donation, he is
establishing a scholarship trust to support students
passionate about ecosystem restoration. This initiative aims
to raise an additional $400,000 to provide annual
scholarships in perpetuity. While open nationwide, the fund
proudly prioritizes Plumas County and Feather River College
students. Help empower the next generation of environmental
leaders and restore our beloved community!
