Are you wondering how Missouri’s new medical marijuana laws will affect you, your work, or your place of employment?  These are all good questions. Join Department of Health & Senior Services Medical Marijuana Regulation Director, Lyndall Fraker, on Dec 11, 2019 at the Labor Law Breakfast to hear how Missouri’s medical marijuana laws will be implemented. This will be a great presentation. We hope to see you there. Breakfast is at 8:00 a.m. The program starts at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $20 a person.

Become more aware of your personal and organizational cultures. Examine how your personal and organizational cultures affect your ability to work across difference in both negative and positive ways. Build skills to increase competencies in working with colleagues and communities. Facilitated by St. Louis County Engagement Specialist Dwayne T. James and Boone County Community Development Specialist Letitia Johnson.

Free Embryology training session for educators. Topics include operating incubators, caring for eggs and chicks, managing risk and classroom activities.The Embryology program encourages hands-on learning and discussion of issues related to human and chicken development as children take care of eggs that hatch into chicks. The 2-week session will begin on March 10, 2020 or April 14, 2020. We have a few options for Curricula to enhance your classroom activities: Hatching Classroom Projects (grades 2-5), Experiments in Poultry Science (grades 6-8), and new this year Chick Quest Teacher Guide and Student Log Book.
