Jenks Garden Club hosts the 30th annual Herb & Plant Festival takes place on Main Street. The annual Jenks Herb & Plant Festival will feature booths filled with a variety of locally grown herbs and plants, garden decorations and much more. You are invited to gather at Riverwalk every Tuesday at 6:00 PM for free outdoor yoga. Whether you’re new to yoga or a seasoned participant, this experience is designed to nurture body, mind, and spirit while enjoying the beauty of the Riverwalk.

As our ancients learned, the sky is not just a thing of beauty–it’s the ruler for the position of our planet. Understanding how our planet is aligned with the distant stars allows anyone to use the sky as a compass, a calendar and a clock. Come learn how to use the sky yourself! The target audience for Compass, Calendar, and Clock is ages 8 and up.
This show is held at the Jenks Planetarium, Jenks High School, Dr. Kirby A. Lehman Center for the Study of Math and Science Center, 3rd Floor. Elevator available. Doors to the Planetarium open approximately 30 minutes prior to listed show time. Tickets will not be issued at time of purchase. You do not need to show proof of purchase. Based on the book, My House Has Stars introduces both houses and stars from places and cultures all over the planet. The target audience for My House Has Stars is ages 6 and up.

With the arrival of the flowers, the animals awaken both on Earth, and in the night sky; Leo the Lion, Corvus the Crow, Ursa the Bear. The Spring Sky will introduce you to those constellations, and many more, found in the springtime sky. Weather permitting, we will relocate to the roof-top observation deck. The 2026 Spring Fever Triathlon is a great race for beginner triathletes as well as experienced racers. Many local and regional athletes began their triathlon “careers” at this event. The Spring Fever Sprint Triathlon is held at the Jenks Aquatic Center featuring an indoor Olympic sized pool located in Jenks, Oklahoma. Not only do they see many of the constellations we do… but they see stars, constellations, and deep space objects that can never be seen from the north! Join us as we tour the southern hemisphere sky! The target audience age for The Sky We Don’t See is ages 6 and up.

A University of Oklahoma graduate and certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach, Chris now leads The Russell Group, where he translates battlefield leadership lessons into practical strategies that build high-performing, people-focused teams. He has also led leadership training for the Jenks Police Department and other organizations committed to strengthening their leadership culture.
