Join us for the annual Smithville Fireworks Show, proudly sponsored by the City of Smithville and Clay County, with extra activities this year as we help celebrate America’s 250th birthday! This FREE event kicks off at Sailboat Cove (4619 Chapel Rd | Smithville) with a DJ from 12:00–4:00PM, featuring local community acts, family-friendly activities, food trucks, and more. Fireworks will be launched from Smith’s Fork Park (1601 DD HWY | Smithville) from the north side of the spillway at dusk, approximately 9:15/9:30PM. Great viewing spots include:
• Smith’s Fork Park
• On the lake near the dam
• Smith’s Fork Campground
• Surrounding areas of the park
• Clay County Parks Parking: Available throughout Smith’s Fork Park, Clay County Parks, and Sailboat Cove Important Notes:
• Park restrooms at Smith’s Fork Park will be closed due to annual vandalism
• Portable restrooms will be available throughout the park
• Rainout date: TBD – updates will be shared here Bring your friends, family, lawn chairs, and patriotic spirit — we’ll see you under the stars!

This relaxed, informative session is designed to help members better understand the many ways the Chamber can support visibility, connection, involvement, and business growth. Whether you are brand new or have been a member for years, you’ll walk away with practical ideas, greater confidence, and fresh ways to plug in. Light refreshments will be provided.

Held the first Wednesday of each month (except Jan & July) from Noon-1:00pm at the First Christian Church in Kearney, MO.
Registration is Required! A boxed lunch from a local member restaurant is included. Deadline to Register: Noon, Monday, August 3.
Cost: $10.00 Members / $25 Non-Members
We start on time, so arrive early for networking opportunities.

Cancellation Policy: Reservations canceled prior to the deadline can be carried over to another luncheon. Reservations canceled after the deadline will be charged full price. If you are unable to attend, please let us know if someone will be attending in your place.

To keep the program running on time and respect our guest speaker, announcements will be shared only by members who reserve a spot during registration (first come, first served). Helpful, clear, and quick is the goal… and yes, we do have a whistle if someone goes into overtime.
