Join us this summer for a beloved Ottawa tradition as the Ottawa City Band returns to the OMA stage for their weekly concert series. These FREE concerts are the perfect way to enjoy an evening of live music with family and friends. Join us EVERY Tuesday beginning May 26th through July 7th.
Directed by Mark Paquette, the Ottawa City Band is one of the longest-running city bands in the state of Kansas, bringing generations of musicians together to perform a wide variety of music—from patriotic favorites to timeless classics.

American Legion Ottawa Post #60 is having a Passport Ride/Drive June 6th, 2026. This is a fun event open to everybody. Participants will receive a passport when they register (taking place at McDonald's in Ottawa) and also receive suggested driving/riding route that will keep them on paved roads. There are 2 routes that they may choose: one is just over 100 miles and the other is about 250 to commemorate the USA 250th birthday. There will be a raffle for each ride/drive . This is open to cars, trucks, motorcycles and the shorter route will be mostly in Franklin County with passport stops in various businesses.
Proceeds will benefit the Ottawa American Legion post who then uses the funds to support local scholarships, baseball, etc.
Registration is at 9:30 AM and drawing for short ride will be around 3:00 pm and the longer ride around 5:30 pm more info...
United by the Game: OMA Watch Parties brings the excitement of international soccer to the Ottawa Memorial Auditorium this summer! Join us for two first-round matchups—Mexico vs. South Africa on June 11 (doors at 1pm, kickoff at 2pm) and USA vs. Paraguay on June 12 (doors at 7pm, kickoff at 8pm). These watch parties are free to attend, with concessions and bar service available for purchase. We will also be joined by Jacque Madison from the PGA of America, who will be on hand to discuss the PGA of America, our current programming efforts, and our long-term goals for growing the game and expanding opportunities within our community. Jacque serves as a career consultant for multiple PGA Sections and brings a wealth of knowledge not only about the PGA of America, but also about the many career opportunities that exist within the golf industry today.
Step into a world of imagination as Ballet Wichita brings a fully original production of Alice in Wonderland to the OMA stage, where nearly everything you’ll see has been built from scratch.
This fresh take on the classic story features all-new choreography by Artistic Director Katie Andrusak, blending classical ballet, neoclassical technique, and even tap with moments of humor woven throughout. Stunning costumes are handcrafted in-house by Ballet Wichita’s costume team, while custom projection backgrounds, developed in partnership with Wichita State University, transform the stage into a vibrant, storybook world.
