🌎 Celebrate Earth Day at the Wild Rose Moon! Step into an evening where creativity, climate consciousness, and community spirit collide in the most joyful way. The Wild Rose Moon is gathering a constellation of regional talent for a one‑night‑only Earth Day celebration that promises music, laughter, reflection, and a whole lot of heart.
🎶 Musical Magic & Earth‑Friendly Grooves The night kicks off with Jim Yocom’s lyrical delight, “Earth Hug Boogie,” a tune guaranteed to get your toes tapping. Holding down the musical center of gravity are John Bayler and the Moon Rockers, bringing their signature sound to anchor the festivities.
🎭 Comedy, Satire, and… Lava? Prepare for molten mischief with “An Inconvenient Spoof,” a satirical radio play written by Wesley Lantz and performed by members of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby—complete with delightfully oozing lava effects.
🎤 Dynamic Duos & Ecological Anthems Loose Associates—Sophia Wilson and Mark Annella—return to the Moon stage with two of their most beloved pieces: “Animal Husbandry in the 21st Century” and “Toxic Jungle.” Expect wit, wonder, and a dash of wildness.
📚 Poetry in Motion Indiana author David Hoppe will share selections from his newest haiku collection, Snapshot Lightning, accompanied by an atmospheric trio: Mark Snell on drums, George Schricker on flute, and Nathan Waddill on bass. It’s poetry electrified.
🌱 Reflections on the Moon Tree Vision Special guests Mathew Cellmer and Sister Mary Baird will offer insights into the ecological imagination that inspired Moon Tree Arts, weaving together art, stewardship, and spiritual connection.
🙏 A Blessing for the Planet Beloved Rosie will be present to share her heartfelt, prayerful words for Earth—an intimate moment of gratitude and hope.
🌳 Support Local Reforestation Every ticket sold supports the Plymouth Tree Committee, helping to grow a greener, healthier community.
