In this session we will be presenting materials to help prepare you for the CBEST in the areas of reading and writing. We will go over reading and writing strategies and look at some of the test questions to help you prepare and feel confident when you take this test.
This webinar will be led by Dr. Catheryn Reardon.
Dr. Reardon is an adjunct professor and credentialed teacher from Southern California, where she has been teaching for over 15 years. She currently teaches high school English at an online public charter school, and undergraduate courses in Education and Psychology at several universities. She also works as a site supervisor in the College of Education at GCU where she helps to prepare future educators. She earned her teaching credentials from Cal State University, Fullerton, where she holds CLEAR teaching credentials in both Multi-Subjects and Single Subject English. She also earned a B.A. in Communications from Cal State University, Fullerton, a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Pennsylvania State University and a Ph.D. in General Psychology with an emphasis in Integrating Technology, Learning, and Psychology from Grand Canyon University. more info...

This session is designed for students who have already graduated or are in the final semester of nursing school and will provide tips to develop a plan to prepare to take NCLEX. The session will explore the NCLEX Test Plan, the testing experience, strategies to develop your own study plan and test-taking strategies.
This session will be led by Amy Leach, GCU's NCLEX Success Manager who is an experienced RN and nurse educator. This is not a content review session but instead it will offer a chance to learn how to approach the NCLEX in a way that will bring you the most success.
