Semi-Annual Boulder City Friends of the Library Big Basement Book Sale. Come browse thousands of donated books, cds, movies, Hidden Treasures, and unique items. It is a donation based fundraiser with suggested donations per item. This is our largest fundraiser and the proceeds go to supporting the library and literacy in our community. We will host a bazaar of unique gift-able items, a holiday shop, and a silent auction. Pollie's Hidden Treasures will have a large selection of donated books of value, these are first editions, signed, or other books of value. Travel Nevada has announced two Adventure Centers — one in Boulder City and another in Carson City. Expected to open in early fall 2026, the Nevada Adventure Center in Boulder City is an all-new hub designed to connect visitors with southern Nevada’s outdoor experiences. Serving as a basecamp for tour operators and outfitters, the center will provide trip-planning resources, safety and conservation information, and direct connections to guided tours, gear, and other adventure services — all supported by Travel Nevada’s statewide marketing to drive year-round traffic. more info...
