The Innocent Men

Adams-Friendship Educational Foundation presents a Premier All-Male A Cappella Group from the UW-Eau Claire performing rock, pop, R&B

The Innocent Men is The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's premiere all male a cappella group. In 1985, six members of the men's glee club, The Singing Statesmen, decided to sing “For the Longest Time” at the annual talent competition. The tune is from Billy Joel’s album "An Innocent Man", which inspired the group’s name. In an attempt to capture their audience and unify their style, the original members wore red Converse All Stars (A.K.A. "Chucks"). The style stuck, and every generation of “I-Men” that succeeded the original six have since donned a pair of these classic sneakers. Since the creation of the group, The Innocent Men “have provided top-notch singing and below-average humor as entertainment to literally thousands.”

Ticket $15 in advance and $20 at the door; on line at afasd.tix.com
