The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center is excited to announce our raffle for the months of January and February. Visitors will have the opportunity to win a beautiful painting from local artist Micheal Tenorio while supporting IPCC’s mission. Proceeds from raffle tickets will support our cultural events at the center, including traditional dance performances by groups from local Pueblos, art vendors, American Indian Week celebrations, and more!

Museum lovers! Join us for a fabulous FREE afternoon on Friday, January 24, from 2-7pm

Explore our remarkable exhibits, featuring historic artifacts that offer a glimpse into the past. At 5 pm, we'll kick off engaging hands-on science activities for all ages. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about our volunteer programs, membership benefits, educational offerings, special events, group tours, and facility rentals. Throughout the event, we will also host hourly giveaways.

Celebrate the seasonal cycles through prayer, song, and dance with our Cultural Dance Program. Dances connect us to our ancestors, community, and traditions while honoring gifts from our Creator.

They ensure that life continues and connections to the past and future are reinforced. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center is the only place in North America to offer cultural Native American dances every week, year-round.

January’s IPCC Family Story Times will feature a series of books about an Inuit puppy named Kamik and the boy who owns him named Jake. Inspired by the real-life recollections of elders from Arviat, Nunavut, these books lovingly recreate the traditional dog-rearing practices that prevailed when Inuit people relied on dogs for transportation and survival.

January 25th we will be reading Kamik Joins the Pack by Darryl Baker (Inuit), illustrated by Qin Leng, and Kamik Takes the Lead! by Darryl Baker(Inuit), illustrated by Ali Hinch.

Following the story, families are invited to stay and create winter crafts.
