Step into the heart of musical drama with Schubert’s emotionally charged “Tragic” Symphony. This concert showcases the brilliant young talents of Ella Tasker and Sean Choi, first-place winners of the Jackie McGehee Young Artists’ Competition, performing selections from Mozart’s lyrical Violin Concerto No. 4 and Beethoven’s radiant Piano Concerto No. 4, respectively. And we open the evening with the stormy passion of Mozart’s Don Giovanni Overture. This afternoon is a perfect blend of elegance and fire.
