Explore Hieroglyphic Canyon: South Mountain's 'House of Rain' with Author Peter Krocek
Join us for a special trek into arguably the richest and densest collection of petroglyphs in South Mountain. Peter Krocek, co-author/photographer of the book, “Landscape of the Spirits” will be our guide. Together we will take a shuttle-van up the mountain then hike down into this magical canyon; be prepared for navigating a few rough areas and rocky terrain as part of this great adventure! Recommended for avid hikers ages 18 and up.

Hacks for Humanity
Hacks for Humanity, sponsored by Project Humanities at Arizona State University, is a 36-hour hackathon for the social good, challenging participants to create technologies to address local and global issues. The finished products must embody these seven Humanity 101 principles: kindness, compassion, integrity, respect, empathy, forgiveness, and self-reflection. This annual event draws some 150-200 students, faculty, staff and community members, each with their individual talents and backgrounds of expertise.

18th Annual Haunted House and Hayride
Take a jaunty Hayride to the Haunted House at the Ahwatukee Park. Be guided through the abandoned asylum, watch your step as you pass through the bloody butcher shop, scream with fear as the zombies appear, and shiver with fright at the spooky night.
Games, bounce house, pumpkin giveaway, and concessions.
18th Annual Haunted House & Hayride
With an Entry Fee of $9 for Adults and $6 for kids you will enjoy a Haunted Hayride in the park and spooktacular Haunted House. Some of the attractions in the haunted house are an abandoned asylum, zombie invasion, doll house, and an abandoned swamp house.
There will be a free bouncy house, free games (and prizes) and a bake sale along with other concession items. The event time is from 6 pm - 9 pm but 6 pm - 7:30 pm is a designated "less scary time" for younger goblins.
