Altadena, CA – The Skughofey Foundation is excited to announce its upcoming Youth Trunk or Treat event, dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness. This family-friendly event promises to blend the festive spirit of Halloween with critical awareness initiatives surrounding breast cancer, all while fostering community support and engagement.

The event will feature a line-up of seven creatively decorated car trunks, brimming with candies for young participants. Each trunk will embrace the Halloween theme, with one trunk specifically highlighting breast cancer awareness. Local families and community groups will lead the decoration of these trunks, establishing a sense of community pride and collaboration.

The event will also feature a lively music, offering attendees dance opportunities and entertaining moments. Prizes and gifts will be awarded throughout the event, culminating in an exciting Best Costume Contest that encourages creativity and family participation.

A heartfelt balloon release will serve as a poignant symbol of hope and awareness for breast cancer. Attendees will also have the opportunity to create lasting memories at a photo area featuring sponsorship logos.

“This event is not only a chance for families to enjoy Halloween festivities together but also a meaningful way to engage with and support our community during a crucial time,” said Skughofey Earl, Chairman/Founder. “We are honored to partner with Next Wave Studios, Lailah’s Loft, Taghavi Farms, Living Beauty Cancer Foundation, Cancer Support Community, and Costco to make this event possible.”
