The Baird Chamber of Commerce is excited to host their annual Railhead Festival. This will be a fun day for everyone in the family. One of the events is our Railhead Cook-off. So if you're a BBQ enthusiast and think you have what it takes to smoke out the other competition, we highly recommend you enter our BBQ Cook-off. The day will start off with a car show, vendors, food trucks, and activities for the kids. Finally, the night will end with a street dance & live music performed by Bad Moon Rising (CCR Tribute Band) followed by Jamie Richards. | 5/21/2022 | The 2022 Railhead Festival planning is in full effect. This year’s Car, Truck & Bike Show will be Saturday, May 21st. This will be an outdoor show with paved parking. We will have People’s Choice & Specialty Awards & will present the winners with a trophy. We have numerous ways you can register for this event. 1. Pre-register online 2. Come by Baird City Hall pick up a form and mail it back with your entry fee to Baird Chamber of Commerce PO Box 1115 Baird, TX. 79504 3. Register the morning of the show between 8:00-10:00 am at the corner of east side of Market & 3rd Street (In front of the old fire station) EVENT ACTIVITIES: *Downtown Baird* We have a full day of activities planned on Saturday: Car Show, Cook-Off, Street Dance, Children’s Activities, etc. Check our event page for more details at Bairdchamber.com/events. CHECK-IN: Please find the Chamber Booth at the corner of 2nd and Market (between Grumpy’s Lollipop and Railhead Tavern) for your location. We will also provide an event program to ensure all vendors are aware of the schedule of activities. RULES: **ALL vendors are welcome to set up Friday Night** All trailers and vehicles must be moved off the downtown area by 10am Saturday and will not be allowed to re-enter until after 5pm. We will barricade Market Street between 1st and 3rd Streets.
