Art Guild Gallery Featured Artist Exhibit

Boulder City Art Guild Nov Featured Exhibit ~
" Be Kind and Be Grateful"
  by Ann Boulais
Ann Boulais is a nature photographer, especially focusing on the landscapes of our National Parks and Monuments where she was working in the Tourism Industry. She had access to an abundance of landscape subjects, but when Covid-19 struck, travel & tourism shut down.  Ann was grounded-- unable to carry out tours and and her photography. She shifted and found new creative pursuits  "I started to become involved in graphic arts and sublimation, discovering that it was another very fun outlet for creativity."   Sublimation is a process that allows Ann to use her photographed images to enliven functional objects.  These are what will be featured in this exhibit, from small gift items such as earrings to larger pieces like individually designed coffee cup gift sets and wall art.  With 2020 being so difficult for so many, "...it really is a year to grab inspiration, to create, and to remember to be grateful and kind. "
An Artist Reception will be held for Ann November 14th from 11am to 2pm at the
Boulder City Art Guild Gallery in the Historic Boulder Dam Hotel. Come meet the artist & enjoy the gallery.

Gallery Hours are Mon-Sat 10-4 Sunday 10-3
No admission fee    Gallery: 702 293-2138
