Boulder City Art Guild Presents, Artists in Action Holiday Show & Sale 
 
The new Artists in Action event will not only showcase artists' finished works of art, but each individual artist will be working in one or more mediums that they use to create their art. Watch the artists, ask questions, see the artwork emerging while the artist is working. 
Artists' works may include large and small, painting (water and oil), pottery and ceramic art, fiber arts, handmade, individually designed jewelry, and other single design handmade items appropriate and gifts. 
-Come see the Artists' in Action.  BCAG is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. 

LOCATION :  B C PARKS & RECREATION  CENTER   900 ARIZONA ST BOULDER CITY

Boulder City Art Guild is a nonprofit volunteer artist organization, which maintains a gallery, puts on 2 art shows each year, and awards several art scholarships each year. Their mission is to support the Arts in Southern Nevada.

Women in Support of Women

We are a group of women who meet for fun and friendship to support each other emotionally, physically, and financially in our businesses, personal life, and organizations. Please join us for our get-together Mingle in the DeSimone Steakhouse at Railroad Pass . The steakhouse is closed that night so it is a private event for Women in Support of Women starting at 5pm.

When you preregister you get ticket for some great raffle items. If you just want to attend without the buffet you may purchase beverages (adult beverages, ice tea, water, colas) separately.

Red Mountain Choir Concert

"Strokes of Genius"

"Strokes of Genius" will feature songs written and recorded by artists such as Elton John, Billy Joel, the Carpenters, the Mamas and the Papas and the Beatles who stormed the music world and left an indelible mark at home and abroad. The performance will be on Nov 15-16 at 7:00 pm, with Lisa Gillespie conducting and Ashley Peel at the piano. Musicians Adam Hallam, Francyl Gawryn and Tim Thomas will provide the rhythm section, and Jason Markel will play cello. Guest singer Nicole Harris of Vegas City Opera will also grace the stage.

Storytime on the Train

StoryTime on the train on the Nevada Southern Railway.  The kids enjoy a coloring page, craft and an age-appropriate story read by one of our docents. Everyone rides the train from the depot to Railroad Pass and return while enjoying the activities along with their parents and family.  StoryTime is on each of the regular departures for the day (10:00 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM).

BC Republican Women's Meeting

We meet for lunch in the Banquet Room at the Railroad Pass Hotel and Casino.

November's guest speaker will be Niger Innis, regular Fox News contributor and civil rights activist with Congress of Racial Equality (CORE).
 
Seating is limited and a reservation is required by calling or sending an email by noon on November 14th. The cost of the luncheon is $23 which includes tax and tip.
