Best Dam Wine Walk - Mardi Crawl Theme

#BestDamWineWalk On the 2nd Saturday of each month (excl. May - Aug) Boulder City’s Historic District becomes flooded with both locals and tourists looking to explore the beautiful historic district, meet some amazing business owners and make some new Best Dam Wine Walk friends.

Each month has a special theme that participants are encouraged to dress up around. As they explore the shops and make their way around town one of the businesses will be judging the theme participants and 1 lucky winner is revealed on our Best Dam Wine Walk Facebook page each month. The prize is provided by the Theme Judge from that month.

We also have a App/Map winner pulled each event. The lucky winner receives 2 #BestDamWineWalk glasses at the next wine walk they attend. What does an App/Map mean? We have created a mobile friendly app that allows you to “check in” at each stop simply by scanning the QR code at each participating location. Everyone who checks in at each stop is entered for a chance to win as long as they have filled in their email address so we can contact them : ).

There are packages available with both the Hoover Dam Lodge and Railroad Pass Casino. Packages include a nights stay for 2, 2 wine glasses to the event, a designated driver to and from the event and some offer a complimentary meal as well. See our website for more information or contact each location directly.

Friendly reminder, if you’ve already been out and want to save $5 on your next Best Dam Wine Walk, bring back your #BestDamWineWalk glass!

PLEASE NOTE: The check-in location (subject to change so be sure to check location address) is only open to purchase your wristband and glass from 4:00 - 6:30pm. Event runs from 4:00 - 8:00pm.

Looking forward to seeing you out and about in Boulder City!

Art Guild's Featured Artist Exhibit

Boulder City Art Guild Gallery presents ~
a February Featured Exhibit THE MAGIC OF RESIN BY Artist Birgit Tode

Her exhibit will be on display Feb 1 to the 28th .
Birgit Tode lived in several different countries before, settling in Las Vegas about four years ago, and
began working in Resin about a year later. She loves this fluid  medium.  "It invites experimenting outside the box" with different techniques, combining materials and styles, beyond the usual classic approaches to resin on canvas.  She had not had any formal training in the use of resins during her previous art studies. She says, “ I just let my feelings guide me…and maybe a good sense of color.”
Birgit joined the Boulder  City Art Guild in 2017 and her works were purchased immediately by gallery visitors, and soon she began selling her resin art at local Art Festivals.
She participates in a monthly International Resin Art Challenge, and has
placed First on a few occasions. Birgit has also started giving classes in resin art
for beginners and more advanced levels.
Boulder City Art Guild Gallery is  in the Historic Boulder Dam Hotel, 1305  Arizona St, Boulder City NV.
Gallery hours are Mon thru Sat 10-4 Sunday 10-3
