Brazil California Chamber of Commerce is proud to support the California Governor’s Office (GO-Biz) and North Valley Thrive in the upcoming California AgTech Mission — a two-day (March 19-20, 2026) curated tour of the Central Valley’s AgTech ecosystem, spotlighting Merced, CA.

This mission is designed for international AgTech companies interested in expanding into California – the largest producer and exporter of agricultural products in the United States. 

The two-day program connects participants with the resources and partners that international companies need to successfully enter the U.S. market, such engagement with growers, industry leaders, government officials, and researchers operating throughout one of the world’s most productive agricultural regions. 

Programming includes site visits, industry panels, and ecosystem briefings that highlight Merced’s role as a hub for AgTech commercialization. For example: 

  • Ecosystem briefings with Merced area and Central Valley stakeholders 

  • CA companies claimed over 1/3 of total US VC funding in AgTech in 2025 – join industry panels featuring AgTech companies that operating and growing in California 

  • Site visit to UC Merced’s Agricultural Experiment Station (Smart Farm) 

  • Tour of Merced College’s AgTech Innovation Center and workforce training facilities.

  • Direct engagement with growers, producers, and applied research partners
