| 5/26/2025 | City offices closed for Memorial Day holiday, Trash and recycling service not affected In observance of the Memorial Day holiday, all city offices, libraries and facilities will close on Monday, May 26. Regular business hours will resume at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27. Trash and recycling services are not affected by this closure. Residents should plan on their regular service days this week. Even though city offices are closed, Buckeye’s annual Memorial Day ceremony will take place at 8 a.m. on Monday, May 26 at the Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery, 23100 W. Broadway Road in Buckeye. The ceremony salutes all service personnel who paid the ultimate price for our country. New this year, Buckeye’s Hometown Hero Banners are prominently displayed on the streetlight poles along Monroe Avenue in downtown Buckeye. Each year, thousands of residents and visitors alike will see the tribute to those who have courageously served our nation.
