Waukesha Unlocked is back again this year by popular demand!

Waukesha Unlocked will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 and Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The City of Waukesha is excited to work with the community to showcase our businesses, organizations and city buildings through site tours and activities. Each site can tell their own story, inspired by architecture, community stories, history, and operations. The intent of the event is to build a sense of belonging, pride and understanding of what Waukesha has to offer.

The doors to businesses, organizations, churches, and City buildings will be open for you to take tours, participate in special activities, learn and explore! It's a special weekend for you to participate in over 90 different opportunities and see "behind the scenes" in Waukesha.

All sites are free; however, a few sites require pre-registration. Registration is now open! Visit pages 22 -23 of the Fall Activity Guide and click on the code next to each location to register.

The Essential Ingredient for Business Success: Effective Communication
Presented by Deborah Pearce, Pearce Communications Group, LLC
There is a saying that suggests every time we, as a business community, take a technical step forward, we must balance that growth with excellent people skills. In other words, “High Tech/High Touch.”

Join us to examine four essential communication tools that effective leaders use every day when interacting with their work associates to enhance understanding and relationships. While some people believe that clear communication is just “common sense,” research shows just the opposite. Companies lose thousands of dollars a year in miscommunication!

Included with your Registration is an Olive Garden lunch, drinks, networking, and the presentation. Herzing has sponsored the event which allows for the Free cost to Chamber Members and low cost for non-Chamber members.

The avid hotel Milwaukee West, Waukesha/Pewaukee is excited to welcome the community to our Grand Re-Opening Celebration.

Our fresh, beautiful and bright hotel has been open for over a year now and we are so excited to invite our clients and friends in for a proper celebration. Opening in March of 2021 really put a damper on our opportunity to welcome in the community and make our presence known. It's now time to show Waukesha County who we are and what we do!

Join us from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm to tour our facility, meet with our staff, and enjoy some light appetizers and refreshments! We will have a bevy of drawings and raffles with a chance to win 100,000 IHG Rewards Points!
