Let's Dance!

Dancing continues at the Western Folklife Center's G Three Bar Theater. Get ready for the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering dances! Dance lessons in a selected style at 6pm, followed by open social dancing at 7pm. Admission only $5. 2018 Book of Lists Launch & Awards Gala

Lift off with Northern Nevada Business Weekly in 2018!

Join the Northern Nevada Business Weekly in in celebration of the 2018 Northern Nevada Book Lists launch! This issue marks the 10-Year Anniversary of the region's premiere have-and-hold listing resource for all businesses in Northern Nevada.

This event will feature a cocktail reception followed by a dinner and awards ceremony honoring the most impactful people and company winners of the NNBW Readers’ Choice Best in Business. The event will end with a keynote address by Robert “Dusty” Staub who has worked for over 30 years liberating the purpose, passion and power of individuals, teams and organizations. 34th National Cowboy Poetry Gathering

Produced by the Western Folklife Center, the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko is the nation’s original cowboy poetry and music festival, which honors the arts, culture and traditions of the rural West, including poetry, music, storytelling, dancing, workshops, exhibitions, discussions and food. At the 34th annual Gathering, more than 50 poets, musicians and musical groups from the U.S., Canada, Australia and the Basque country will perform on nine stages at four different venues. Volunteers are always welcome - sign up on our website (nationalcowboypoetrygathering.org)
