Labor Day Weekend Antique Fair

LSCC Members Exclusive Model Train Tour Mixer is ON: This Wed, 9/22

Chris Skow, owner of Trains and Travel International, is hosting a LSCC "Members Only" Train Tour mixer this Wednesday, September 22 at 4:30 pm at his home on Mohawk Vista Drive in Blairsden. 

Location 70155 Woodside Drive (Road 7), Mohawk Vista, Blairsden. Access to Road 7 is from Mohawk Vista Drive. You can reach Mohawk Vista Drive from HWY 70 six miles west of Portola or three miles east of the HWY 89/70 junction. Once on Road 7, drive up the hill about a mile to the end of pavement which ends at Chris' garage. Follow the Chamber signs. If you need additional directions call Chris at 836-1083.

National Public Lands Day / Portola Trail Daze

Join us for National Public Lands Day-“More Ways to Connect to Nature” this Saturday, September 25th in Portola CA, as we dig dirt and continue to build the brand new Beckwourth Peak Trail.

Free camping available Friday and Saturday night (courtesy of City of Portola), lunch provided during the trail work day, with refreshments, including Sierra Nevada brews after we’re done getting dirty.
