Florissant Fossil Beds Fine Art Festival

The Friends of the Florissant Fossil Beds Inc. will hold their annual Art Festival Oct 6 & 7, 2018 to raise money in support the Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument.  This event helps fund activities the Superintendent can not fund, either by federal restrictions (water, lunches for volunteers) or because of insufficient budget (the Park Service has experienced significantly declining budgets the last several years).   Last year's fund raising by the Friends resulted in improvements to the Fowler Education building, support to own going Monument activities and support to Monument volunteers.
The Festival will feature works by renowned local and regionally acclaimed artists.  At a minimum, come visit and admire their works!
