CC&V Mine Tours

Tour a Real Gold Mine from the Victor Lowell Thomas Museum

Tours of the Newmont Cripple Creek & Victor gold mine will be offered again this summer from the Victor Lowell Thomas Museum. Online reservations for the tours are open for 2020. Operating on daily basis except Thursdays, the tours offer a look at the large-scale surface mining operations between Victor and Cripple Creek. This year’s tour includes a stop and overlook from the original American Eagles Mine site high above the district.

Check VictorMuseum.com for tour times and dates. The cost is $11 per person plus a small online booking fee - an affordable way for the entire family to see a real working gold mine. Only children 5 years of age and older are allowed on the tours. Please be sure to reserve your preferred tour dates (June is the slowest and the best time to make a reservation) as they are very popular and fill up quickly.
