The Hibbing Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 2025 Health and Wellness Fair to be held on March 6th, 2025 at the Minnesota North College-Hibbing Campus!

The 2025 Health and Wellness Fair is a FREE family-friendly event that showcases a wide range of products and services designed to promote health and overall well-being including your financial health! Attendees can enjoy engaging demonstrations, connect with industry professionals, and discover new ways to enhance their personal health journeys.

Local businesses and organizations will showcase innovative wellness solutions, including fitness programs, nutritional guidance, mental health resources, self-care products, and MORE.

Whether you're looking for expert advice, unique wellness products, or inspiration to achieve your health goals, the Health and Wellness Fair has something for everyone!

(We also provide the ability to schedule a demonstration, games, or activity of your services to the public. A demonstration might be a presentation, a performance, or instruction on how to perform an activity. Demonstrations should be between 15 to 30 minutes in length. We are open to your suggestions and will help you schedule your demonstration.)

Electrical needs should be communicated at the time of registration. Please be prepared to bring a extension cord.
We provide ONE 4x2 FT table with TWO chairs. You will need to provide your own tablecloth.

Purpose: To develop and implement programs to retain and support existing businesses in the Hibbing area.

Goals: develop a marketing package; work with Entrepreneur Fund by connecting them to businesses and the community and lending support when needed; respond to closures and businesses in trouble or distress; respond to businesses wanting to expand or open here; grant development; develop workshops or training programs for small businesses, entrepreneurs and startups; do 15 to 20 Grow Minnesota visits a year; work with the City of Hibbing on the Comp Plan; and work with the HEDA representative on retention and development projects.

Certified Tourism Ambassadors are people who care about our area and want to provide the very best customer service to their guests, no matter where they are from or where they are going.

    CTAs have taken a four-hour classroom course, and achieved a passing grade on an exam.
  • THEY ARE LIFELONG LEARNERS
    They have made, and continue to make, an effort to learn about events, activities and attractions in their area. CTAs visit sites of interest and attend events that celebrate the people, places and things in our region.
  • THEY SHARE THEIR KNOWLEDGE
    CTAs strive to educate visitors and others about the great things there are to see and do right here on the Mesabi Iron Range.
  • THEY PUT GUESTS FIRST
    CTAs are helpful, and always striving to serve our guests in a positive and memorable manner.
  • THEY ARE SUPERSTARS!
    CTAs are great people to know!

Important HR Updates
AudacityHR is proud to partner with the Hibbing Area Chamber of Commerce to help keep Northland employers informed and updated. With the second quarter of 2025 on the horizon, this lunch-and-learn session will focus on  key HR updates all employers should have on their radar.  We will review ICE Audits and Form I9 Compliance, the new Minnesota job post regulations, and updates to the Minnesota Paid Leave program which is slated for January 2026 implementation.

Check out the Roller Skating Party hosted by Hibbing Parks & Rec on March 13th!
Skaters of all ages and abilities are invited for this one-night only roller skating party. There will be fun music, lighting, concessions, and skate rentals for kids and adults (while supplies last).
This will be an absolute blast for families, teens, and adults looking for fun night out just like old times. No need to register in advance, admission will be collected at the door. Participants can use the North or South Entrance - rentals will be available on the arena floor. FYI: yes, you may bring your own skates or roller blades.

Come join us for a time of fun, watercolor, and fellowship on March 14th 2025. Enjoy a free egg themed watercolor painting class by The Iron Range Makerspace at the Youth and Family Rec Center located within the Hibbing Salvation Army, 107 W. Howard St. Hibbing, MN. 

This women’s history month your kids can also learn about the significance of art in women’s history as The Iron Range Makerspace educates us on the use of egg painting among Ukrainian women.

Hibbing Area Chamber Government Affairs Committee Meeting.
If you are interested in joining this committee, please contact the Chamber 218-262-3895.

Purpose: To be the business community's proactive voice on government issues; a communication facilitator that informs our membership and community on legislative, regulatory, and other government issues; offers position recommendation to our Board of Directors.

Description: Each fall the committee researches upcoming legislative issues and presents them to the Chamber Board for consideration. The committee monitors legislative activity through the Minnesota Chamber and media and informs and advocates for the membership on emerging issues. On the local level the committee monitors public issues, and advocates and informs local government on member and community interests and concerns. The committee also holds multiple candidate forums each year.
