We invite you to join us for another crucial conversation at our upcoming Youth Worker Cafe, "Engaging Parents and Caregivers." We all know that youth work is a team effort. Sometimes, it can be difficult to achieve that work without buy-in from the adults in a youth's home. This cafe will offer insight on how to engage parents and caregivers in your programming, so you can create positive synergy for a youth's development.

Learning Objectives

  • Develop skills to have open communication between youth workers and caregivers
  • Learn how to facilitate buy-in to our programs from caregivers
  • Get tips and strategies to refresh youth workers to get family members involved to forward the mission

Oak Farm Montessori invites the community to a special moment of recognition on Wednesday, November 13, before the 5:30 PM basketball game, to honor local veterans for their service.

This brief ceremony serves as a small token of appreciation for the courage, sacrifice, and dedication shown by the men and women who have served our country.

All admissions and donations from the evening will benefit the community’s Honor Flight program, providing veterans the opportunity to visit the memorials dedicated to their service.

The school looks forward to welcoming everyone for this meaningful evening of gratitude and support
