We are excited to launch our first ever Listen and Talk Virtual Walk! Join us to raise much needed funds for programs for deaf and hard of hearing children and their families to ensure that no child is limited by hearing loss! The fundraising event is virtual but our final finish line is in person. 

Gather your friends, family and neighbors to walk in your neighborhood or an area of your choice on the day you choose between October 1-26. Registration is FREE!

Be a Neighborhood Ambassador

Organize a small walk in your area and be the neighborhood lead to help raise awareness and funds! As a Neighborhood Ambassador, you will be a key part of our fundraising efforts, spreading the word in your community and encouraging friends, family, and neighbors to participate. Join us for the TS12 Listening Party at Lady Yum - Totem Lake on October 2, 2025 at 8:30 PM Pacific Time for a night filled with music, fun, and delicious treats. The album is expected to release at 9 PM Pacific Time. Space is limited. Reserve your space as soon as possible. Your ticket includes: one specialty macaron, a glass of bubbly, and a friendship bracelet making kit. Additional macarons and beverages available for purchase.

The event will include games, prizes, and will end at midnight or one run-through of The Life of a Showgirl (whichever comes first).

Mark your calendars for The Mod, a vibrant two-day showcase from Ryan James Fine Arts and Kirkland Urban featuring 25 local modern, abstract, and contemporary artists. Presented in partnership with the City of Kirkland as part of the citywide Umbrella Fringe Festival, The Mod will transform Kirkland Urban’s plaza into a dynamic open-air art market, free and open to the public. 

Kirkland Urban will come to life with Instagrammable installations, community interactive art activities, and stilt walkers, creating an immersive experience for visitors of all ages. We welcome fall with the 5th annual Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Juanita Beach Park (north), 9703 Juanita Drive NE. 

Activities include Rustic Bites Round Up, live music, artisan food and craft vendors, photo booths, and apple cider pressing.  We’ll also have contests including pie eating, corn shucking, and an adult pickleball tournament, as well as the Kid's Korral with faux cow milking, ring toss, horseshoes, pumpkin bowling, crafts, and pony rides, plus a special visit from Gwendolyn the Cow.

In the spirit of Harvest, please show support by bringing a non-perishable food item to donate to those in need. Donations will be accepted in the food collection tent.

🎃 Spooky Sounds and Smiles: LWSO’s Annual Halloween Children’s Concert Returns!

Get ready for a frightfully fun musical adventure! The Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra invites families to its beloved Annual Sensory-Friendly Halloween Children’s Concert on Saturday, October 25th at Bellevue First United Methodist Church. With two showtimes to choose from—11:00 AM and 12:30 PM—there’s room for everyone to enjoy the magic.

This enchanting event is designed especially for young audiences, with a welcoming atmosphere that encourages costumes, giggles, and joyful participation. Expect playful tunes, interactive moments, and a celebration of music that’s as inclusive as it is imaginative.

Get ready for a fang-tastic night at Kirkland Urban’s Treat Street on Saturday, October 25 from 5–8 PM in the Plaza. This FREE community celebration invites families and friends to experience Halloween magic with live costumed entertainers, balloon artists for a take-home treasure, spooky music, and trick-or-treating with local businesses. 

Guests can immerse themselves in interactive Halloween worlds including the Space Invaders Corn Maze and Monster Bash Dance Party featuring a live DJ. And don’t forget to stop by the trick-or-treat candy wall! Watch as a mysterious live hand pops through the wall to surprise you with gummies, chocolates, lollipops… or a spooky surprise!

Costumes are highly encouraged, and visitors can enjoy up to four hours of free parking with validation from any Kirkland Urban business.
