The NorCal Small Business Development Center is excited to announce the first Startup World Cup - East Bay Regional, to be held on September 10 at Cal State East Bay in Hayward!

The Finalist from the East Bay Regional will compete in the Global Grand Finale for a chance to win a $1 Million investment award. In addition, there will be cash awards for the top three winners at the East Bay Regional event.

Startup World Cup is a global conference and competition that brings together the top startups, VCs, entrepreneurs and world-class tech CEOs. Each regional winner will compete in the Grand Finale for $1 Million Investment Prize on October 17, 2025 in San Francisco. 

NorCal businesses are invited to participate in the SWC-East Bay Regional. We also encourage NorCal Startup teams, Founders, Entrepreneurs and Investors to join us on September 10th in Hayward to network.

You're Invited! The Marin Council of Chambers invites you to the All-County Mixer, an exclusive opportunity to connect with business and community leaders from across Marin County. 

Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

This mixer is designed to foster cross-county economic growth by bringing together industry leaders, innovative businesses, and community organizations. Through collaboration and connection, we are strengthening Marin County’s economy—and we invite all businesses to be part of this exciting opportunity!

Schedule of Events:

 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Enjoy beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres at the Angel Island Ferry Dock.

• Beer & wine available for purchase
• Complimentary hors d’oeuvres provided by local Tiburon restaurants

 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Set sail on a one-hour cruise around the bay aboard the Angel Island Ferry. You MUST RSVP for the Ferry cruise. Space is limited. You do not have to go on the cruise to attend the mixer. 

 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Post-cruise reception back at the Angel Island Ferry Dock.

Cost:

• $5 for members (of any chamber)
• $20 for non-members
