| 8/8/2023 | Come and be sew-cial and meet other quilters and sewers in the community. Community Sew-cials are held at Irvington Baptist Church parish hall. Hours are 10:00 am-4:00 pm and you can stay for all or part of the time. The church will provide tables, chairs, and electricity. Bring all the supplies you need for the day as well as lunch, beverages, and snacks. Or, head across the street to The Local or The Office Bistro and grab something to eat and drink. Proceeds from your reservation fee of $10 will be donated to the church for the use of their facilities. Need sewing supplies? Stop by Sewlovelee (4504 Irvington Road), right down the road from the church. Deanna, Betty, and MaryLou have been professional musicians and singers most of their lives performing in many venues with several bands on the East Coast! Playing, singing, and writing songs, has been the way of life for these girls even in childhood performing alongside both parents in their family band throughout the Tidewater area.
