We make a different recipe each week -- sometimes it’s made with white, sometimes it’s rose, or red. During the colder months, we make a warm, seasonal version that’ll warm the soul :0) When it’s gone…it’s gone…until the next Sunday, of course, when we make a new batch. Come Sip and Sangria with us. | 4/10/2025 | Mark Maloy: “The Shot Heard Round the World: The Battles of Lexington and Concord” What began as a mission by British troops to find hidden stores of weapons and gunpowder ended in a day long 18-mile running battle. Lexington and Concord started an eight-year war that resulted in the independence of the United States of America. Come learn about these first battles of the war and what visitors to the area can see there today. Mark Maloy is a historian with the National Park Service in Virginia. | 4/26/2025 | The Northern Neck Orchestra will perform Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Coriolan Overture” and “Triple Concerto” as well as Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s “Symphonic Variations on an African Air” at its final concert of the 2024-2025 season on April 26 at the Lancaster Elementary School Theater, 191 School Street, in Kilmarnock. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be preceded by a pre-concert talk by Music Director Michael Repper.
