The Northern Neck Orchestra will perform works by Felix Mendelssohn, Carlos Simon, Adolphus Hailstork and James Johnson, on Saturday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lancaster Elementary School Theater in Kilmarnock.  A pre-concert talk by Music Director Michael Repper will begin at 6:45 p.m.

The Northern Neck Orchestra’s March 7 concert will bring together an energizing
combination of old and contemporary compositions ranging in style from 19 th century
Romanticism to 21 st century gospel with some 1940s swing in between.
The concert features compositions by Carlos Simon, Adolphus Hailstork, Felix
Mendelssohn and James Johnson.
The concert at the Lancaster Elementary School auditorium, 191 School Street,
Kilmarnock, begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be preceded by an insightful and entertaining pre-
concert talk at 6:45 p.m. by Music Director Michael Repper.
Tickets are $40.00 can be purchased online at www.northernneckorchestra.org or at the
door. Students are admitted free with an online registration.

Seussical the Musical is a stage musical that brings together many beloved characters and stories from Dr. Seuss's books, such as Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and the Whos, in a fantastical adventure about friendship, loyalty, and the power of being unique. The show tells the story of Horton's efforts to protect a tiny speck of dust and the community of Whos living on it, set against the backdrop of the Jungle of Nool and the world of the Whos.
