Get ready for one of the most anticipated nights of the year – Chesapeake Academy’s 49th Annual Auction, Prom Night: A Retro Rendezvous! On May 2, 2026, from 5:30-10:30 p.m., step back in time and join friends, families, alumni, and supporters for an unforgettable evening that blends glamour, nostalgia, and high-energy fun.
Guests will enjoy a fabulous night of dinner, drinks, dancing, and a dynamic live and silent auction featuring incredible travel packages, one-of-a-kind experiences, and exclusive items you won’t want to miss. Dress to impress, lace up your dancing shoes, and get ready to relive prom night – with a decidedly grown-up twist.
At the heart of the evening is the opportunity to make a difference. So gather your friends, bring your energy, and get ready to bid, dance, and celebrate for a great cause. This is your chance to relive prom night in style while supporting the students of Chesapeake Academy – and to be part of a night where the memories (and the impact) last long after the final song plays.
We end our season with a purely classical performance by members of the Camerata Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra from Amsterdam. They have been one of the very best orchestras in the world for over 135 years, and 15 members of their chamber ensemble who tour the world when not playing with this phenomenal orchestra will serenade us with Beethoven, Dvorak, and Mozart.
