| 12/17/2022 | Run for a Cause! Invite your family and friends for the Y’s first Annual Reindeer Dash 5K and Rudolph Kids Dash. Come dressed in your festive holiday gear! Mayor Ron Nirenberg will help us kick off the event! There will be holiday music, Santa sightings, vendor booths, jingle bells, and holiday cheer! This is a timed event. Competitive runners will be first to leave the starting line, with walkers and those with strollers to follow. Children, 10 years and under will require supervision from anyone 16+ if they participate in the 5K or Kids Dash. The accompanying person must also be registered for one of the events. The YMCA of Greater San Antonio's Reindeer Dash 5K and Rudolph Kids Dash will take place on Saturday, December 17th. This family-friendly event is open to anyone interested—the YMCA at O.P. Schnabel Park and Mays Family YMCA at Potranco are partnering to host this event. The event will occur at O.P. Schnabel Park, located at (9606 Bandera Rd). The 5k will begin at the Leon Valley Greenway Trails in O.P. Schnabel Park.
