Gates will open at 6pm with traditional rodeo competitions being at 8pm. Food vendors, mechanical bull, and mutton' bustin' (kids riding sheep) will be available before the main event beings. | 8/27/2022 | The City of Monroeville is excited to announce its first Sunflowers and Sunsets Country Music Festival Saturday, August 27 11am with Arts and Craft vendors. Awards will be given out for the Brightest Colorful Bloom, The Tallest Bloom Stem and Largest Bloom. Growers can bring flowers bouquets to admire and sell. Awards will be given out at 2pm on the Old Courthouse Museum's South Lawn. LIve Music will begin at 5:30pm with Tainted Lyric and at 7:00 pm Jon Byrd and Byrd Auto Parts will Perform until 10:00pm.
