| 10/8/2022 | The Monroe County Human Society will host the 6th Annual Tail Chaser 5K Run/Walk on October 8th! (registration below)
The registration begins at 7am at City Hall and the 5K begins at 8am. After the 5K Run/Walk, the Humane Society will be joining Monroeville Main Street on the Monroe County Museum lawn for October Second Saturday on the Square. The Humane Society will host a raffle, Pet Costume Contest, Blessing of the Pets, shelter donation station, and more! Monroeville Main Street will have a Pickers Circle (bring a chair & instrument and join in), community art project with Letter by Letter, story telling the Circle on the Square storytellers, gaint Games on the Lawn, and monthly giveaway for children plus local artist Sherri Scott will be Chalking the Square! This event supports the Monroe County Animal Shelter. | 10/29/2022 | The City of Monroeville will host its Witches Ride and Ghauls Night Out! Celebrate the Halloween Season Grab your Tribe and Ride into the Monroeville's historic downtown Square on Parade Route A and finish with a lap around the square and finish at the Monroe County Court House Lane. Dress up in witches Costumes with matching tribe shirts and hats and attach your broom to a colorfully decorated Bike . Afterwards we will celebrate at all restaurants downtown with den parties and extended shopping hours. Their will be prizes awarded for the largest tribe participation and best costumes.
